Mansion Sports – Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, praised his team’s 3-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday evening, a result that keeps the Premier League title race open.

The victory brought City to 64 points from 31 matches, reducing the gap with league leaders Arsenal—who have 70 points from 32 matches—to just six points, thereby increasing the intensity of the title race in the final stage of the season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea, led by manager Liam Rossiner, remain in sixth place with 48 points from 32 matches, and continue to show inconsistent performances throughout the season.

Guardiola said after the match: “We are in a better condition, and in training everyone knows exactly what they have to do. We have faced three strong opponents, three Champions League teams.”

When asked why Manchester City perform so well in the latter stages of the season, Pep Guardiola joked: “The sun! If the sun shone in November, we would already be champions in January… No, of course I am joking. In Manchester, the sun does not shine very often.”

Ahead of the matchweek 32 clash against Arsenal in the Premier League next Sunday, he added: “That match will feel like a final for both teams, but there are tactical details we need to review, so we may make some adjustments.”

He also added, “Everyone is talking about the match against Arsenal, but games against Brentford, Bournemouth, and other teams are just as important. The season is still long.”
